Directions
- Start by cooking the bacon in a pan over medium heat until it’s crispy. Once done, set it aside on a paper towel to drain. In another pan, melt butter over medium heat and scramble the eggs, stirring occasionally until fully cooked. Set the scrambled eggs aside.
- Slice the thick-cut bread halfway through, creating a pocket. In a shallow dish, whisk together Burnbrae Farms liquid whole eggs and ¼ cup eggnog. Dip each slice of bread into the eggnog mixture, making sure both sides are well-coated. Sprinkle cinnamon sugar generously over the bread.
- In a large skillet or griddle, melt butter over medium heat and cook the coated bread slices until golden brown and crisp on both sides, about 2-3 minutes per side. Set the french toast aside.
- In a small bowl, mix the remaining ¼ cup of Burnbrae Farms eggnog with 1 tbsp of powdered sugar. Whisk until smooth, then transfer the glaze to a ziplock bag or small piping bag for easy drizzling.
- To assemble the sandwich, fill with a slice of cheddar cheese, followed by scrambled eggs and crispy bacon. Drizzle the eggnog glaze over the top and finish with a dusting of powdered sugar.
